Katuri Kaye Recognized in Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2019 Most Influential Women Attorneys List

Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce director Katuri Kaye has been included in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s (LABJ) 2019 Most Influential Women Attorneys  list. Over 400 women were nominated, and only 75 women were selected. The honorees were considered for their exceptional legal skills and achievements across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for their contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.

Katuri focuses her practice primarily on qualified retirement plans, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, and plans of tax exempt entities and public schools and universities, such as 403(b) and 457 plans. She was the recipient of the National Bar Association’s 2012 Top 40 Advocates Under 40 Award and was named to the Lawyers of Color 2013 Inaugural Hot 100 List. She is a member of the National Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers Associations of Los Angeles and Northern California and the California Association of Black Lawyers.

Moreover, service is of the highest importance to Katuri. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the East Bay Children’s Law Offices, and she has been instrumental in giving back and impacting the community, as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and through The TKK Program, Inc., her non-profit organization aimed at serving at-risk populations.

Katuri is a zealous advocate of advancing women and promoting diversity and inclusion in the profession, and she regularly sits on panels addressing these issues. When asked about her thoughts on being included in the 2019 LABJ list, Katuri responded, “I am honored and strive each day to bridge the gap for women and minorities in our profession.”
