Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Safeway Open on September 10-13, 2020 in Napa Valley. This year’s event was held without spectators due to the COVID pandemic.
In lieu of a sponsorship funded tournament, Trucker Huss’ sponsorship dollars will be donated directly to the Safeway Foundation, part of the Albertsons Companies Foundation. The organization has developed a fund to help families impacted by COVID-19, and all funds raised will be distributed locally to food banks to purchase food and gift cards for people in need,school districts to deliver meals to kids who rely on them when school is not in session, and groups working to get food to seniors.
The Safeway Open is the first event of the 2020-2021 PGA Tour Season. The player field included a number of notable players including Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia.
