PRESENTER: Mary Powell
A main goal of the Consolidated Appropriation Act, 2021 (CAA) is to bring down health care costs. The question is how. And what role does the plan sponsor have in achieving that goal? In this webinar, we will take a step back and look at how plan sponsors can use the new rules to assist in drafting better agreements with healthcare vendors. Specifically, we will discuss the No Surprises Act of the CAA and the transparency rules issued under the CAA and the Affordable Care Act.
This webinar will discuss how a plan sponsor can use these rules to:
- Examine pricing provisions in an Administrative Services Agreement (ASA)
- Create a checklist of additional provisions that should be added to the ASA
- Run a better a Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Prepare for — and protect against — future litigation regarding the cost of healthcare
