Scott Galbreath will present on the new and improved EPCRS in a webcast for the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) on January 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. PT.  In this webinar, Scott will discuss the newly issued Revenue Procedure updating and revising the IRS Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) for correcting retirement plans, including the legislative changes for self-correcting eligible inadvertent failures mandated by SECURE 2.0. He will give an overview of the correction programs under EPCRS and specifically discuss how eligible inadvertent failures and interim guidance have been incorporated into the new EPCRS. Yatindra Pandya will be speaking on November 15th at the 4th Annual Advanced QDRO/ERISA Topics CLE in Portland. His presentation is entitled QDRO Reviews & Withholding Procedures: Plan Counsel Perspective. Yatindra practices in the areas of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, multiemployer plans and executive compensation. He assists clients with plan document drafting, plan compliance programs and plan audits.

Joe Faucher will present on the panel “DOL Investigations – Past, Present and Future (Or, How Did We Get Here And Where Are We Going?)” during The ESOP Association’s EO 24 Conference being held in Las Vegas this November 13-15. The panel will discuss the history of DOL investigations of ESOPs, what has taken place since the DOL initially began its special enforcement program relative to ESOPs, and what the future holds. The Employee Owned Conference is attended annually by more than 2,000 employee-owners, thought leaders, and professional advisors. The event is the largest ESOP conference in the world. Joe Faucher has been litigating ERISA matters and other employee benefit related cases for more than 30 years.
