Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce Brad Huss will participate on the Litigation Update and Fiduciary Rule panel during the 2024 Western Benefits Conference in San Francisco being held September 26-27, 2024. The annual conference is hosted by the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) to provide networking opportunities and new developments important to professionals in employee benefits.
The Litigation Update and Fiduciary Rule panel will present both the defense and plaintiff side perspectives and discuss the latest trends in ERISA litigation including a wave of recent cases contesting the use of 401(k) plan forfeitures and attacking defined benefit plan pension risk transfers. They will also cover other developments such as ESG investment funds, pension benefit misstatements, court challenges to the DOL’s new Fiduciary Rule, and pension cybersecurity/theft and privacy issues.
Brad Huss has been practicing in the employee benefits field for over forty years, and his practice is primarily in the areas of ERISA litigation, fiduciary responsibility matters, Department of Labor investigations, and qualified pension and profit-sharing plans.
