Scott Galbreath will present on the new and improved EPCRS in a webcast for the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) on January 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. PT.
In this webinar, Scott will discuss the newly issued Revenue Procedure updating and revising the IRS Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) for correcting retirement plans, including the legislative changes for self-correcting eligible inadvertent failures mandated by SECURE 2.0. He will give an overview of the correction programs under EPCRS and specifically discuss how eligible inadvertent failures and interim guidance have been incorporated into the new EPCRS. Scott will also cover other changes in the new EPCRS.
