Xiaolu advises clients on a wide range of employee benefits issues, with a focus on qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plans.
Xiaolu assists with employee benefit plan regulatory compliance, prepares plan documents and SPDs, and provides counsel on ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, COBRA, and other federal and state laws affecting single and multiemployer pension and health and welfare plans.
During her time at Emory Law, Xiaolu served as president of the Association of International Law Students and participated as a member and coach in Emory Law’s Moot Court Society. Before attending Emory Law, Xiaolu practiced as an attorney at a Chinese law firm in Nanjing, China, focusing on commercial and business litigation, including employment disputes and regulatory compliance.
